The Joke 3/23

Like everything else, I started this "Blog Site" as a joke. I assumed that no matter how bad I was, traditional Wall Street Research was worse. Just to keep things honest, every entry is timestamped and retained forever just so I can't creatively rewrite history like everyone else does. ------ Check my record -- went short last summer covered and went long 1/23 staying long, just trading around watching everyone else go nuts since. --- Too many over leveraged and over medicated kids with "MBAs" running pools of money today and, you know, it is like taking candy from a baby. Thank God this is one contact sport where experence counts more than reflexes!

Was debating thursday what to do with my.DELL, Should I take a profit before the earnings or wait for what everyone touted as a great report. Then I reflected on Michael Dell sitting at Davos with Bono wearing a bright commie-red scarf. I sold my Dell, CSCO, and my INTC at the close. Friday took a pretty good sized loss on my MSFT (all my profits are short term so I have to eat the losses as I go or I'll wnnd up with a Tax Nightmare.) Bought same # position in YHOO if the merger skates I'll be ok. Watched the Tape while getting my first Cigar ready. CNBC kept reporting that three Hedge Funds were being liquidated because of margin calls. Boy that comment was a real confidence builder. The Germans invented Chlorine Gas one Spring morning they cut it loose at the Front lines (Ypes I belive) Is was such a success that they wiped out 18 miles of Allied Trench Lines - problem was they didn't have enough gas to drive through the breech. When they tried it again ,guess what, everyone had Gas Masks. Friday a lot of Wise Guys were being forced off the ledge (Leap Day) whatever was being done would have be done by the close. Picked out four stocks at random bought two at the close and slotted the other two for mondays opening, then I took the dogs out back for a cigar. Saturday ran two more Data Lines into my room someday I'm either gonna electrocute myself or choke on a massive Hair Ball!
